Barium occurs in nature only in a combine state, chiefly as BARYTES (Barium Sulphate). The word Barytes is derived from Greek word ‘Barry’s’ which means heavy. Because of its heavy nature and high specific gravity the major use of barites is in the preparation of oil well drilling muds. It is a moderately soft crystalline material with Moh’s hardness of 3 to 3.5 and varies in column from white to light shades of grey, red and brown.

Barite Powder

Barite Powder Grade 4.20SG

B BAR is 4.20 SG graded Barite under API 13A,  The purity can be expected with a minimum of 90% BaSo4 concentration having a specific gravity of minimum 4.20g/ml.

B-BAR  is a high purity BARITE(Barium Sulphate) in powder form. It is an inert material and fully Conforms,3% residue on a 200 mesh screen maximum,5% residue on a 325 mesh screen minimum etc.)
